Getting back to work from Covid-19 pandemic presents a new set of challenges for Brown’s Technology Services like most businesses. The technology landscape has changed even though the Covid-19 pandamic is not completely over.
Every where you turn around things are changing, especially since the onset of the global pandemic of Covid-19! People all over the world have been affected in many ways from the way gather in groups to the way we work and the adoption of more technology in our lives. For example, many offices shut down and workers had to work from home creating a need for more technology upgrades or purchases of laptops, tablets, phones, printers and other devices. In addition to hardware and devices, new software had to be used to communicate and for overall productivity.
Like many small businesses. one Covid positive associate caused drastic effects on operations as usual. We seem to hit a productivity level of barely operational. Our business as usual have changed and look forward to the new recovery techniques for all!
The Covid-19 pandemic has changed a lot of methods and activities in our lives that will become the norm. For example some governors and mayors mandated major closures of schools and businesses in order to curtail the rapidly spreading Covid-19 virus. As a result, many non-essential businesses developed remote work processes that allowed some employees to communicate, commute, and team work via the internet and other peripheral devices.There is so much to learn, that we will be adding to this ongoing story.
